INSTRUCTIONS

Top Triangles (make 2): CH 10

This starting chain should be the length from the bottom of the breast to just above the nipple.  Adjust your starting chain, if needed.

HDC into the 2nd chain from the hook. 1 HDC in each CH to end of chain. Then work 3HDC into the edge of the last ST. Mark the 2nd ST of the 3HDC. Then continue working along the opposite side now. Turn.

CH 1. 1 HDC into next ST and in each ST up to the marked 2ndST from the group of 3HDC. Place 3HDC into the marked ST and mark the 2nd ST, Continue HDC to the end.

*REP this process until you have reached your desired width to cover the breast. Once you are happy fasten off. Mine is a width of 6”

Now you are going to SL ST to one of the side corner of one of the triangles and CH. 1, Skip 1 HDC, Work a Butterfly Stitch in the next HDC,* Skip 3 HDC, CH 3, Work a Butterfly Puff Stitch in the next HDC, *REP this process til you get to the tip of your triangle ( you want to work a butterfly stitch at the top of your triangle, so you may only skip 2 HDC not 3 HDC so the butterfly stitch is on top, if that is the case CH. 2 not CH. 3) Continue down the triangle til you are left with 7 HDC, work a butterfly puff stitch in that 7th stitch, CH 1, Work a butterfly puff stitch on to the other triangle starting at the 7th HDC, Continue this same process on the other triangle. Turn.

CH 1. *1 HDC in CH 2 SP, 3 HDC in the next CH 3 SP. REP from* til you get to the end of both triangles.  Turn.

CH 1. 1 HDC in each of the next HDC til you get to the end.Turn. Do not fasten off.

Piecing Together – You are now working on connecting the bottom parts of the triangles. RS facing up.

CH. 1

Row 1: 1 HDC in each ST. Then CH.7 in the middle of the triangles, then continue 1 HDC in each ST to the other end of the triangle. SL ST to your first HDC you created from the beginning of row 1 and CH 10 + 1 *Same number as your other chain you made*. Turn.

Row 2: 1 DC into the 2nd chain from the hook.  1 DC in each of the next HDC *work 7 DC in the CH 7 SP* then continue 1 DC each of the next HDC til you get to the end of the row. Turn.

Row 3: CH. 1, Skip 1 DC, *Work a butterfly puff stitch in the next DC, CH 4, Skip 4 DC, REP from* til you get to the end of the row. **Make sure when you get to the 7 DC in the middle of your triangles the butterfly puff stitch is in the middle. You may need to CH 3 and skip 3 stitches on each side instead of the 4** Turn

Row 4: CH. 2. *Work a butterfly puff stitch in the CH 2 SP, CH 3, Skip CH 4 SP. REP from* til you get to the end of the row.
